How many of us have wished at some time or other we could go back in time and change an action or a decision or just take back something that was said? But it is what it is. There is no rewind, reboot, delete key or any other trick to change the past, right? Lynne McBriar can. She bought a 1937 camper that turned out to be a time portal. And when she meets a young woman who suffers from serious depression over the loss of a close friend 10 years earlier, she has the power to do something about it. And there is no reason not to use that power. Right?
Trailer on the Fly The Time Travel Trailer Volume 2 (Audible Audio Edition) Karen Musser Nortman Valerie Gilbert Karen Nortman Books
Lynne McBriar and her 1937 vintage “canned ham” camper trailer are back again for another adventure. Unfortunately, this second time around is not nearly as entertaining as the first. Lynne owns a travel agency and helps people plan trips for all occasions. One day an anxious woman comes in to plan a trip to any destination so long as it isn’t the wilderness. It is soon revealed that this woman is suffering from a serious bout of depression due to losing a very close friend in an accident while camping ten years before. It doesn’t take Lynne very long to realize that she might be able to go back and prevent this death with the help of her time traveling trailer. The results, though, are anything but expected…As with the first novel, the book is more about the characters than actually about time travel, and that’s perfectly fine. Nortman does a great job with developing interesting characters to read about.
This book fell short for me, though. I’m not sure if it’s because I simply enjoyed the first one so much, or if it’s because going back in time a mere ten years isn’t really all that interesting because life ten years ago was pretty much the same as it is now, so the layer of learning a bit of history is missing.
The ending was left in such a way that there will probably be a sequel at some point, and I hope there is because I enjoy these quick books, and I always enjoy time travel.

Trailer on the Fly The Time Travel Trailer Volume 2 (Audible Audio Edition) Karen Musser Nortman Valerie Gilbert Karen Nortman Books Reviews
This is the second Time Trailer book I've read and I enjoyed it as much as the first one. The idea of time travelling is very appealing and doing it in a vintage trailer is very novel indeed. Good to know Sisters in the Fly actually exists but makes me very sad that I had to sell my primo, retro camper.
What a fantastic tale !
I LOVE these time trailer tales..
The trailer is the magical vehicle that gets the reader to great (and dangerous adventures).
Will our heroine change the future, will she live to return to her family?
There are no dull moments.
Karen Musser Nortman is a gifted and imaginative storyteller.
I anxiously await her next novel !
Once again, I am not disappointed. The author does a great job of creating a sense of "being there". I love that about her books! I relate to the characters and enjoy the whole idea of traveling back in time in such a unique vehicle. The story is engaging and I just can't put it down once I get started! I can't wait till the next book in the series!!
Cute and engaging. Not a difficult read, and while it kept my attention, it did not keep me up reading late into the night, which for me, is a good thing! I love a book I can't put down, but that doesn't help much with sleep. I liked the first in the series as well, and am now interested in following the authors other work.
It was recommended to me by my sister, who knows we camp in an RV, and thought I would enjoy the books. She was right.
Really enjoyed this book. I was not sure how there could be a sequel to "Time Travel Trailer," but Karen Musser Nortman had a great premise, and followed through with it.
This is a great followup of the first book "Time Travel Trailer". The writing is tight without over referring back to the first book. This one stands on it's own--although you should read the first book also. Karen Musser Nortman is crafting her way to being an very readable and clever writer. She weaves in the real world of RVing with an enjoyable light fantasy and livable characters who might step right out of the book into your local RV park.
Unlike the first book, there is only one trip made - to save a friend of a client of Lynne's. And Lynne learns many lessons about time travel, even when done with the best of intentions. I actually liked this better than the first, simply because Lynne had such a great time. Not enough Ben and Minnie, but Ben has recovered well from the last book. And we learn something from the first book wasn't as it seemed. Very quick read, and again more for the age group of 12-15. Thoroughly enjoyed this.
